一、协议免签

Agreement visa-free

根据双边协议，部分国家公民(中外互免签证协议一览表)持相应护照赴华，免办签证。

According to bilateral agreements, citizens of some countries (list of visa exemption agreements between China and foreign countries) will be visa-free if they travel to China with corresponding passports.

免签入境并不等于可无限期在协定国停留或居住，根据协定要求，持有关护照免签入境后，一般只允许停留不超过30 日。

Visa-free entry does not mean indefinite stay or residence in the treaty country. As required by the agreement, visa-free entry with the relevant passport is generally allowed for a stay of no more than 30 days.

二、过境免签

Transit visa exemption

24小时口岸过境免签

24-hour transit visa exemption

外国人持联程客票搭乘国际航行的航空器、船舶、列车从中国过境前往第三国或者地区，在中国境内停留不超过二十四小时且不离开口岸，可免办签证。

Visas are not required for foreigners who, holding connecting passenger tickets, board aircraft, ships or trains for international transit from China to a third country or region and who stay in China for no more than 24 hours without leaving the port of entry.

72小时机场过境免签

72-hour airport transit visa exemption

需要具备3个条件：

There are three requirements:

(1)属于72小时过境免签范围的53个国家公民。

Citizens of 53 countries covered by the 72-hour transit visa exemption.

(2)持有本人有效国际旅行证件和72小时内已确定日期及座位的前往第三国(地区)联程机票。

Holding a valid passport and a connecting air ticket to a third country (region) with a confirmed date and seat within 72 hours.

(3)自某一个允许过境的机场过境前往第三国(地区)。

Transit to a third country (region) from an airport permitted to transit.

符合72小时过境免签条件的外国人应当向载运其抵达中国的航空公司提出，由航空公司或者旅客本人向边检机关申报，边检机关经审核符合过境免签条件的，允许其临时入境。

A foreigner who meets the requirements for a 72-hour transit visa exemption shall make a request to the airline carrying him to China, which shall be submitted by the airline or the passenger himself to the border inspection authorities, which shall allow him to enter the country temporarily if, upon examination, he meets the requirements for a transit visa exemption.

144小时过境免签

144-hour transit visa exemption

53个国家的公民(同72小时过境免签政策适用国家名单)，持有效国际旅行证件和已确定日期及座位的前往第三国(地区)联程机票，自国内允许过境的机场过境前往第三国(地区)的，可免办签证。

Citizens of 53 countries (in accordance with the list of countries to which the 72-hour transit visa exemption applies) who hold valid passport and confirmed date and seat connecting air tickets to a third country (region) and transit to a third country (region) from an airport that allows transit can be visa-free.

三、其他类型免签

Other types of visa exemption

1、持有效APEC商务旅行卡者。相当于5年多次签证，持卡人可凭旅行卡及与该卡相一致的有效护照，在旅行卡有效期内多次进入中国境内，每次停留时间为60天至90天不等。

Holder of valid APEC Business Travel card. Equivalent to a five-year multiple entry visa, the cardholder may enter China several times within the validity period of the travel card with a valid passport corresponding to the travel card, with each stay ranging from 60 days to 90 days.

2、持与中国建交国家的普通护照已在香港、澳门的外国人，经在香港、澳门合法注册的旅行社组团进入广东珠江三角洲地区旅游，且停留不超过6天，可免办签证。上述团组赴汕头旅游，如直接从汕头出境，活动范围不超出汕头行政区域的，亦适用上述政策。

Foreigners holding ordinary passports of countries having diplomatic relations with China who enter the Pearl River Delta region of Guangdong province in tourist groups through travel agencies legally registered in Hong Kong or Macao for a stay of no more than 6 days can be visa-free. The above policy shall also apply to any group traveling to Shantou that leaves the country directly from Shantou and has activities within the administrative area of Shantou.

3、下列国家持普通护照的公民，经中国国家旅游局批准在海南注册的国际旅行社组团(5人以上含5人)到海南省旅行，且停留不超过15天，可免办签证：美国、马来西亚、泰国、韩国、菲律宾、印度尼西亚、德国、英国、法国、奥地利、意大利、俄罗斯、瑞士、瑞典、西班牙、荷兰、加拿大、澳大利亚、新西兰、芬兰、丹麦、挪威、乌克兰、哈萨克斯坦、日本、新加坡。其中，韩国、德国、俄罗斯三国团组人数为2人以上(含2人)，可停留21天。

Citizens of the following countries holding ordinary passports, travel to Hainan in  international travel agency registered and approved by the China national tourism administration in Hainan (more than five people including five people) to, and stay for no more than 15 days, can enter without visa: the United States, Malaysia, Thailand, South Korea, the Philippines, Indonesia, Germany, Britain, France, Austria, Italy, Russia, Switzerland, Sweden, Spain, the Netherlands, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Japan, Singapore. The number of delegations from Korea, Germany and Russia is more than 2 people(including 2), and they can stay for 21 days.

4、新加坡、文莱、日本三国持普通护照的公民，前来中国大陆旅游、经商、探亲访友或过境不超过15天者，从中国对外国人开放口岸入境时，可免办签证。

Citizens of Singapore, Brunei and Japan holding ordinary passports who come to the Chinese mainland for tourism, business, visiting relatives or friends or transit for no more than 15 days can enter China through ports open to foreigners without visas.

5、汤加和厄瓜多尔两国持普通护照的公民，前往中国大陆入境、出境或过境，自入境之日起不超30日，免办签证。

No visa is required for citizens of Tonga and Ecuador who hold ordinary passports to enter, exit or transit the Chinese mainland for no more than 30 days from the date of entry.

6、自2015年5月28日起，东盟10国(马来西亚、泰国、印度尼西亚、越南、柬埔寨、老挝、缅甸、新加坡、文莱、菲律宾)旅游团(2人及以上)，由广西桂林市旅游主管部门资质审定的旅游社组织接待，从桂林机场口岸整团入出境，可免办签证在桂林市行政区停留不超过6日。

Since on May 28, 2015, tourism groups (2 people or more) of the 10 ASEAN countries (Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Singapore, Brunei, and Philippines) , received by tourist agencies accredited by the competent tourism authorities of Guilin City of Guangxi Province may, without visa application, stay in the Administrative Region of Guilin for no more than 6 days for group entry and exit from the Port of Guilin Airport.
